Perfect for medium sized Container Lunches.Apr 04, 2009
By John Schultz This is perfect for container lunches. We use those screw-top Ziploc containers and it holds about 4 of the small ones perfectly. or 2 large ones. I also use one of the small containers for my ice pack. I fill it 3/4 full of water and freeze. It was a little narrower than anticipated so it will not accommodate large square (cube) shaped containers very well. Those glad containers that lunch-meat comes in fit perfect also. Ours shipped to us in good shape. It came to us un-zipped with the top sides folded down and nicely flattened for shipping. It sprang back to shape after a few uses. Don't be to worried about the flat as a pancake reference in one of the other reviews. It may have been a fluke and theirs was damaged and should have been returned. Regardless, If you are looking for something in-between the "sack" style and the cooler this is what you want. and it's only 10 bucks!

Great if you tote hard-sided containers to workJul 29, 2008

I got this at the same time that I picked up some items from the Fit n Fresh line (see Fit & Fresh Salad Shaker and Fit & Fresh Lunch Chiller). My biggest concern was if I could fit in a flat "plate style" lunch chiller in the flat, level position, and indeed I can. It also fits the salad holder quite well. The extra pocket on top is a nice plus. I can also easily fit a "blue ice" pack in it to keep everything even cooler. This product seems to be well-made and is exactly what I was looking for.

sturdy, roomy, insulatedApr 10, 2010
By informednow My old lunch box has gotten stained and worn looking, and has always been a little too big, so I shopped for a new one. I saw this on sale at Amazon, noted the positive reviews, and ordered one. I have used for a week now and really like it! It is just right for me size wise, keeps things cold, and seems very well made. I like to keep my lunch at my desk and out of the black hole of a refrigerator at work. This box keeps my breakfast and lunch cold for a good 6 hours. The ice packs I use are still partly solid when I get home.
The lower compartment is the perfect size for a "Take Along" rectangular entree container, which I place on the bottom. Next I put a small container, a can of pop and the ice packs. A couple string cheese sticks easily fit in also. In the top I can put another small container, snack, or piece of fruit. The lower compartment stays cold because of the packs and the insulation. The top one will not keep a can of pop cold more than a couple hours, but is fine for other things.
The zippers feel very sturdy and well made, as does the box material. It wipes off easily. The walls are fairly thick and sturdy and hold the shape well. The long handle is also well made and adjustable. One thing I did note is that as another reviewer noted, the box is shipped flat and it takes a couple days for it to bounce back to full shape. The top compartment zipper can be a little tricky until this happens due to the squashing. I put emtpy containers in all the compartments and let it set for a day before I carried it to help the box reform its shape.
This lunch box was on sale at Amazon. I liked it well enough that I purchased another while they were still on sale. I recommend it to anyone lunch box shopping.

Mary Poppin's would be jealous!Nov 28, 2007
By M. Donahue I bought this lunch tote for my dad - I believe 6-9 months ago. So far no complaints. The bag holds a good amount of stuff, and it's nice to have the compartment on top to put granola bars and other items you may not want squashed in with your frozen/refrigerated items.
