I was actually looking to purchase canvas bags, but settled on these because of the price. We are using them for our girl scout troop outings. The bags won't be carrying anything too heavy other than a waterbottle. I can't imagine using it for school books as the material is very thin and I don't see the stitching as strong as a backpack my kids use for school. The color is awesome though and our petals are sticking well after ironing. The girls enjoyed decorating them as well. If you are just needing something to tool around in with a notebook, reading book, and a few other light weight items they will do the trick and work nicely. I wouldn't recommend as a replacement for a good school backpack. They are large in size and are huge on our 5/6/7 year olds. Size fits better for teens & adults. We adjusted the straps by tying a knot shorter on the drawstring and cutting off the excess.

These backpacks are the perfect size for a trip to the park or to use on a cruise for day excursions. Quality was very good and the reinforced tabs at the bottom keep the strings from pulling out due to weight.

pack is nice and lightweight. Strings could be a little longer so they aren't so tight around the arms for an adult. But love the color.

We are very pleased with these bags for the price. Much thicker and sturdier than I expected. Ordered for school gym bags - Will definitely purchase these again. Shipping was extremely quick - ordered on Thursday, had items on Monday.

My bag has traveled all over the world multiple times and looks like it will continue to travel with me for many years to come. Use it as a backpack or a laundry bag or pretty much anything else...it's lightweight, easy to pack and carry, and if it gets lost or damaged, you're not out alot of cash. I love these bags!
